Beginners, Novices, and C-level Riders

We find it difficult to define a Beginner or C-level ride, because most of us have ridden for a while and forget what it was like to begin. Another problem is that we've learned the lingo, and find it difficult to express ourselves to the layman. Nonetheless we have given it a try. The following paragraph is the description we put in the newsletter. Descriptions of Beginner/C-level rides written by other follow in the hope that one of the descriptions will ring true for you. But if you have any questions please write us. sbmbc@sbmbc.com

C-level ride or C-ride: What is it?

A moderate, introductory ride for newcomers, riders who haven’t done much or any single-track, and want to improve their riding skills and experienced riders who have gotten a bit out of shape and want to regain their conditioning. No one will be left behind. We’re out to have fun, while gaining skills and conditioning. We plan to schedule the second weekend of each month to follow the CORBA Mountain Biking Skill Classes the first Saturday of the month.
